Özet

Atasözleri, geleneksel olup toplumu yansıtan ve çoğu zaman öğüt içerikli kalıp ifadelerdir. Yüzyıllar içinde belli bir sözcük dizimi içinde dondurulmuş olan atasözleri, dilin belli dönemlerinde aynı anlama gelen farklı sözcüklerle ifade edilmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada, özellikle aynı atasözlerinin Eski Anadolu Türkçesindeki kullanımlarıyla Türkiye Türkçesindeki kullanımları arasındaki farka dikkat çekmek ve henüz tespiti yapılmamış olan atasözlerinin tespitine katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, Hoca Mes'ûd’un Süheyl ü Nev-bahâr adlı mesnevisiyle ilgili okuma çalışmaları dikkate alınarak bir tercüme olan bu eserde atasözlerine nasıl yer verildiği üzerinde durulmuştur. Eski Anadolu Türkçesinin ses ve şekil bilgisini yansıtan SN’deki örnekler, atasözleri sözlüklerindeki karşılıklarıyla beraber Türkiye Türkçesine aktarılmıştır. Bununla beraber atasözü özelliği taşıyıp sözlüklerde yer almayan örnekler özdeyiş olarak ayrıca incelenmiştir. Ele alınan konuyla ilgili daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda, SN’deki atasözlerinin çok az bir kısmına yer verilmiş ve örnekler, eserde geçen beyitlerle ele alınmayıp yalnızca cümle hâlinde verilmişlerdir. Dolayısıyla söz konusu çalışmalar yetersiz görülmüş ve bu konu tekrardan ele alınmıştır.

Abstract

Proverbs are traditional expressions that reflect the society and are often advisory. The proverbs, which were frozen within a certain word sequence over the centuries, were expressed in different words with the same meaning in certain periods of the language. In this study, particularly in Turkey with the use of the same old Anatolian Turkish proverbs it aimed at drawing attention to the difference between the use of the Turkish language. In this study, it will be emphasized how proverbs are included in this work, which is a translation taking into account the reading works of Hoca Mes'ud related to his poems called Süheyl ü Nevbahâr. Examples in the second, reflecting the phonology and morphology of Old Anatolian Turkish, Turkish proverbs will be transferred to Turkey together with provisions in the dictionary. However, the examples which have a proverbial feature and are not included in the dictionaries will be examined. In previous studies on the subject, only a few of the proverbs in the SN were included and the examples were not considered with the couplets in the work, but only in the form of sentences. Therefore, these studies were considered inadequate and this issue was discussed again.
