Özet

Türkiye Türkçesinde kullanılan hırsız sözcüğünün Türkçe kökenli olup olmadığı noktasında kaynaklar arasında görüş birliği olmadığı görülmüştür. Sözcük üzerine yanlış değerlendirmelerin yapıldığı da tespit edilmiştir. Hırsız sözcüğü üzerindeki bu problemi çözüme kavuşturmak ve yeni bir bakış açısıyla sözcüğe dair bir etimoloji önerisi gerekli görülmüştür. Bu bakımdan, sözcüğün kökenini açıklayan bazı kaynaklarda çelişkili ve dil mantığına uymayan açıklamalar verildiği görülmüş; bazılarında ise sözcüğe dair herhangi bir açıklamada bulunulmamıştır. Eş zamanlı bakış açısıyla tespitinin zor olduğu görülen hırsız sözcüğünü, art zamanlı bir bakış açısıyla ele almak yerinde olacaktır. Sözcüğün Türk dilinde görüldüğü ilk dönemden itibaren günümüze kadar diğer Türk boylarındaki görünümünü de dahil ederek hırsız sözcüğü gözlemlenmiştir. Sözcüğün Türk dilinin diğer gruplarında görülmeyip sadece Oğuz grubunda görülen bazı sözcükler gibi burada ortaya çıktığı görülmüştür. Oğuz grubu Türk lehçelerinde sözcüğün nasıl kullanıldığına da bakılarak bir yoruma gidilmiştir. Art zamanlı bakış açısıyla sözcüğün farklı bir tabana dayandırılabileceğine dair yeni bir görüş araştırmacıların dikkatine sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Whether or not the word thief used in Turkish is of Turkish origin is uncertain in the literature. It is determined that there is no consensus on the sources. There have also been incorrect evaluations of the word. It is necessary to solve the problem on the word of the thief. An etymology proposal for the word has been deemed necessary from a new perspective. In this subject, some sources that explain the origin of the word are given contradictory and non-language explanations; in some cases, no statement was made about the word. It would be appropriate to take the word thief from a concurrent point of view, which is seen as difficult to detect, from a point of view. The word thief was observed by including the appearance of the other Turkish tribes from the first period until the present day. It was seen that the word was not seen in other groups of Turkish language only here, like some words seen in Oğuz group. The Oguz group was interpreted in Turkish dialects by looking at how the word was used. With this study, a new view that the word can be based on a different base with the perspective of time is brought to the attention of the researchers.
