Özet

İsmin durum (hâl) ekleri arasında yer alan bulunma hâli eki tarihî Türk lehçelerinden Çağdaş Türk lehçelerine kadar çeşitli amaçlarla, çeşitli anlam ve işlevlerle kullanılmıştır. Ek üzerine birçok çalışma yapılmış ve ekin görev, anlam ve fonksiyonları üzerine çeşitli görüşler ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, mevcut kullanım durumu, kullanım sıklığı, işlevsel yapısı ve anlamsal yapısını, daha önceki çalışmalarda ve dil bilgisi kılavuzlarında yer alan sınıflandırma ve örneklendirmeleri dikkate alarak belirlemektir. Bu tespitlerden sonra ekin anlam ve amaç bakımından son durumu literatüre katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada eklerin tasnifine yönelik başlıca çalışmalar bir arada sunulmuştur. Daha sonra beş kaynak analiz edilmiştir: biri en çok okunan üç adet eser, biri hem çevrimiçi kitapçılarda hem fiziki kitapçılarda çok satanlar listesinde yer alan biri Türk klasiği, bir adet blog yazısı ve çevrimiçi olarak okunan bir adet köşe yazısı incelenmiştir. Bu eserler içinde geçen bulunma hâli eki örnekleri tespit edilerek hem işlev açısından hem anlam açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Daha önce yapılan semantik değerlendirmelerle karşılaştırıldığında ekin anlam bakımından çok farklı kullanımlarının olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Değerlendirmeler, ekin yalnızca anlamsal değerlendirmelere dayanarak daha önce mümkün olduğu düşünülenden çok daha fazla anlama özgü kullanımları olduğunu ortaya çıkardı. Ekin işlev açısından zaman zaman kelimenin doğasını ve anlamını değiştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Ekin eklendiği kelimenin isimden sıfata veya zarfa dönüştüğü söylenebilir. Bu durum ekin sadece çekim eki olarak kabul edilemeyeceğini ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract

The suffix “case” one of the noun case suffixes, has been used in historical and modern Turkish dialects for a variety of purposes and with a variety of meanings and functions. Numerous studies have been conducted on the suffix, and different viewpoints have been taken on its meaning functions and functions. The aim of this study is to determine the current usage status, frequency of use, functional structure, and semantic structure of the suffix, taking into account its categorization and exemplification in previous studies and grammar manuals. Following these conclusions, the final status of the suffix in terms of meaning and purpose will contribute to the literature. The main works on the categorization of affixes are presented together in this study. Then, five sources were analyzed: three widely read books, one of which is a Turkish classic that is on the bestseller lists in both physical and online bookstores, a blog post, and a column that is regularly read online. Examples of locative usage in these works were found and thier meaning and purpose were evaluated. Compared to the semantic evaluations conducted previously, it was been found that there are many different uses of the suffix in terms of meaning. The evaluations revealed that there are many more meaning-specific uses of the suffix than previously thought possible based on the semantic evaluations alone. It was found that, in terms of function, the suffix occasionally changes the nature and meaning of the word. The word to which the suffix is attached is said to change from a noun to an adjective or adverb. This shows that the suffix is not just an inflectional suffix.
